ACLAMEN ha sido formada con los propósitos de identificar y motivar a mujeres Latinas de la Iglesia Metodista Unida que han recibido el llamado al ministerio y acompañarlas en el proceso de formación, consagración y ordenación. También persigue abogar y desarrollar estrategias para que el liderato de la mujer Latina esté representado en todos los niveles de nuestra denominación. Tiene el interés de desarrollar consultas, eventos de capacitación y otras actividades a nivel nacional y también el colaborar con otros grupos de clérigas organizadas en la denominación y ecuménicamente.

ACLAMEN has been formed with the purpose of identifying and motivate Latina Women in the United Methodist Church who have received the calling to ministry and accompany them in the formation, consecration, and ordination processes. It also promotes advocacy and the development of strategies to assure the Latina representation in and at every level in our denomination. It has the interest of developing consultations, training events, and other activities at local, regional, and national levels. We also would like to collaborate with other organized women clergy groups within the denomination, and ecumenically.

ACLAMEN is a membership organization. The annual membership fee of $50.00 supports the organizing of Latinx clergywomen and provides your access to the scholarship benefits of the annual events of ACLAMEN. Scholarships include housing and meals for annual retreats and leadership convocations.
